Angel BrisenoAngel Briseno is a graduate of the Master of Arts in Music program, with a focus in percussion performance. Since his graduation, he has been teaching/arranging for the University High School (Orlando) percussion groups, and teaching privately throughout the area. He has also been performing with the Brass Band of Central Florida, and the newly formed band, Fleur de Beat (The First Professional Stilt Walking Dixieland Band) that performs throughout the Central Florida area, including theme parks and conventions. Angel recently accepted an offer to move to Tokyo, Japan in Mid-March to perform with “Kitchen Beat” of Tokyo DisneySea. “Kitchen Beat” is a comedy type program featuring three percussionists playing a culinary role, with the use of trashcans, pans, and other cooking utensils as instruments.

She has worked at Universal, Seaworld, the Bach Festival Society, the Sundance Theatre Laboratory, and as a teacher with Genius Music Academy. She will be pursuing her Masters in Vocal Performance at Roosevelt University this coming fall.
