Ways to Give

There are many ways to give to UCF Music. Whether your gift qualifies as an Annual Gift, Endowed Gift, Planned Gift or Capital Project Gift, each type of gift makes an impact on current as well as future students and faculty of the UCF Music Department.

  • Annual Fund Gifts

These yearly gifts of any dollar amount allow donors to have an immediate and direct impact on the daily lives of students and faculty. You may choose to designate your gift to the UCF Music department and select from a number of existing scholarships or faculty support. Click here to make a gift now.

A named non-endowed scholarship can be created for a minimum investment of $10,000 over three years. A named non-endowed scholarship may honor an individual and perpetuate shared values. Please contact Jeannine Starr, CFRE to discuss this opportunity.

  • Endowed Gifts

The basic premise of an an endowed fund is simple. The principal of the fund is never spent. The gift is invested in perpetuity to provide ongoing funding for student scholarships, academic chairs, professorships and academic programs.

The minimum funding levels required to establish a named endowment are generally as follows:

    • Student scholarship and program support begins at $25,000
    • Endowed faculty support begins at $150,000

Endowments can honor individuals and perpetuate shared values. Many of UCF's endowments have become family traditions with succeeding generations adding gifts to the principle established by the founding donors. Please contact Jeannine Starr, CFRE to discuss this opportunity.

  • Gift Planning

Gift Planning offers donors a variety of gifting methods that allows them to make larger gifts, increase their current income, provide tax savings and, most importantly, leave a legacy for future generations at UCF. Effective gift planning allows you to express your personal values by integrating family, financial and charitable goals. Gifts such as bequests from wills, trusts, charitable gift annuities, retirement plans and life insurance policies provide valuable support. Learn more about how you can make a planned gift to UCF Music. For a confidential consultation regarding your philanthropic planning, please contact Jeannine Starr, CFRE.

  • Capital Project Gifts

Gifts to fund capital projects, such as the UCF Performing Arts Center are critical as we continue to develop our physical infrastructure. The Performing Arts, including music and theatre, continue to grow rapidly in size and quality. In order to meet the needs of our students, we need new and enhanced facilities to provide them with the environments they need to learn and thrive. Many opportunities for support, including naming opportunities are currently available. Please contact Jeannine Starr, CFRE for more information.
