UCF Opera Gala I

Cost: Free admission with current UCF ID, Adults are $10, children 11 and under are free

The students of the Opera Workshop ensemble in the Department of Music will sing and act several scenes from Mozart's opera COSI FAN TUTTE, as well as a few single scenes from Strauss' DIE FLEDERMAUS, Gilbert and Sullivan's MIKADO. Additional music selections will include the famous flower duet from Delibes' opera LAKME, and full company concert presentations of music from Offenbach's TALES OF HOFFMANN and Bernstein's CANDIDE. In addition, they will present a fully staged mini opera (about 11 minutes) called "LA PIZZA DEL DESTINO" - depicting a typical day in a busy New York pizzeria.
